PedGuard™ is the latest in a long line of innovations by PedFast Technologies™. With PedGuard, you need do absolutely nothing after you sign up to save up to fourteen backups of your data! PedGuard™ runs every time you shut down your program and makes a backup to our cloud servers. And you can control how long between those automatic backups, from 15-1440 minutes.
PedGuard™ is a subscription service, and it is compatible with the following PedFast Programs:
- The Breeder’s Standard® 2021 and later versions
- The Cattery’s Standard™ 2021 and later versions
- iPed™ 8G or Newer
- Coming soon: Equestrian’s Standard™ 2023 and newer
To use PedGuard™ you must have an active internet connection available to the program.
You can also make a manual backup at any time with a single click, and it will be stored in the cloud on our servers, which are double-backed-up to a different cloud provider.

You can back up files, restore files to your computer for sake keeping, and even restore a database and immediately open it! You can also delete backups you no longer need.
Secure, Private, Encrypted.
Before it sends your database backup to our servers in the cloud, PedGuard™ compresses it and encrypts it with a randomly-generated password that is not saved on our backup storage servers. Your privacy is further protected by the fact that the file name on our servers is also randomly generated! There is no public access to the storage servers, and they are isolated from other PedFast cloud assets. In short, your data are protected with world-class security.
